§ 201. Zoning Districts.

    Zoning districts established. For the purpose of this Ordinance and the promotion of public health, safety and general welfare of the community, the following districts are hereby established for the City of Yukon, Oklahoma:

    A Agricultural District
    R-1 Single-Family Residential District
    R-2 Combined Residential District
    R-3 Low and Medium Density, Multifamily Residential District
    CB Central Business District
    C-1 Office District
    C-2 Convenience Commercial District
    C-3 Restricted Commercial District
    C-4 Planned Shopping Center District
    C-5 Automotive and Commercial Recreation District
    C-6 General Commercial District
    I-1 Light Industrial District
    I-2 Heavy Industrial District
    PUD Planned Unit Development Supplemental District

    201.2.

    Zoning map incorporated.

    The locations and boundaries of the zoning districts shall be established by Ordinance and shall be delineated and shown on a map entitled "Zoning Map of the City of Yukon, Oklahoma," and the Zoning Map is hereby incorporated as a part of this Ordinance.

    201.3.

    District boundaries established.

    The boundaries of a zoning district shall extend to a centerline of abutting streets, regardless of the legal description used in establishing such districts. In the event of uncertainty in the exact boundaries of any of the districts as shown on the official "Zoning Map of the City of Yukon, Oklahoma," the Planning Commission, upon written application or upon its own motion, shall recommend the location of such boundaries to the City Council, and the City Council shall make the final determination.

    201.4.

    Maintenance of official zoning map.

    It shall be the duty of the Zoning Administrator to maintain an up-to-date official "Zoning Map of the City of Yukon, Oklahoma" including all amendments directly adopted by the City Council.
